Mizuno’s Sei Young Kim makes history by finishing 31-under par

Mizuno’s stand out players iron of 2018 – the MP-18 SC added another chapter to its growing storybook thanks to Sei Young Kim.  Playing a set of MP-18 SC irons Sei Young Kim achieved her seventh win at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic and shattered three scoring records in the process.  Sei Young Kim was an unstoppable force at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, where she didn’t just break just one record, but three.

  • Finished with an astonishing score of 31-under par.
  • Shattering the 72-hole scoring record of -27.
  • Recorded the greatest four-round stretch in the history of the LPGA. With rounds of 63, 65, 64 and 65.

Kim also scored the most birdies in 72 holes on the LPGA Tour. She missed only five greens in four rounds, and the only blemish on her score card was one double bogey.
