After unveiling its new MP-S Tour Ball, Mizuno has announced that it will also bring its popular Cross Core D210 ball to Europe in March.

Launched a year ago in Japan Mizuno’s D201 is a versatile, all round ball using Mizuno’s Cavity Cross Core to reduce driver backspin – without impacting the traction of shorter, control based shots. The Cross Core’s unique energy harnessing design and secure cover bonding, also converts clubhead momentum into higher initial ball speeds for greater distance on all types of fuller shot. A seamless 366 dimple design is incorporated to complement the Cross Core’s flight stability for maximum hang time. A surprisingly responsive feel and short game control is provided through a soft Ionomer cover.

“The magic of Mizuno’s Cross Core is to produce noticeable increases in flight time and yardage without the hardness of a standard distance ball. Creating a ball that is really long and efficient through the air, but still usable by stronger players in softer conditions when the greens are a little more receptive.” – Kosuke Imamura, Golf Ball Manager / Mizuno Europe.

Intelligent Spin: Using Cavity Cross Core internal fins to specifically reduce driver spin for increased carry and distance.

Soft Ionomer Cover: Responsive around the greens for partial shots.

Secure cover/core bonding: Cross Core Ribs connect more securely to cover to reduce energy loss.

366 Seamless Dimples: Engineered to complement Cross Core characteristics for maximum hang time.

RRP £25-00 / 30-00 Euro per dozen.
