Mizuno ES21 Wedges on Test

Rick Shiels takes the ES21 for a spin

You Tube’s Rick Shiels took Mizuno’s new ES21 for a spin and was surprised at the results. Rick tested out a 56 and 60 degree – plus the 60 degree wide sole.

“I did have some reservations at first sight about this back edge. I though it might hinder how much i could open the face. Well it doesn’t – i can still open the face pretty much flat. They’ve disguised it really well. From behind the golf ball you can’t see it whatsoever. The ball was grabbing like i’ve not seen before. Unbelievable….very impressed.” – RICK SHIELS

The back logo indicates the ES21’s perfectly centred sweet spot.

Shiels was impressed how the upper blade portion is well hidden at address.
