Mizuno’s Scott Gregory took his 2nd professional win of 2020 at the one round Clutch Pro Tour event held at the Shire on Friday 20th March.  With every golf tour now shut down – Gregory’s win is expected to be the last worldwide for many months.  The promising Gregory is in his first season as a Mizuno player –  using ST200 driver, MP20 irons and T20 wedges.

Scott Gregory won the first prize of £10,000

The event at The Shire was one of the Clutch Pro Tour’s majors – with a £10,000 first prize on offer.  With the aim of offering rising professionals experience of playing for higher stakes against better players.  The tournaments are open to professionals and amateurs with hcps of 1 or better.  The 2020 Order of Merit winner will also be fully backed by Mizuno in 2021 – with full bag, apparel, ball, shoe and glove support.

I felt like 6 would be the sort of number i’d need to get to.  I don’t think we’ll be playing very much this year, so tours like this are crucial to keep playing and earning a bit of money.
