Mizuno irons played to win Dubai Desert Classic

Non contracted win adds to Mizuno legacy on tour

Mizuno irons recorded another chapter in their legacy on tour – played by the winner of the 2021 Dubai Desert Classic.  The winner showcased his Mizuno MP-5 irons with an imperious display of shot-making on route to a 4 stroke win.

The MP-5 irons introduced in 2015 were known for their shotmaking prowess and like Mizuno’s current MP-20 irons were Grain Flow Forged in Hiroshima Japan.  Mizuno has been manufacturing irons in the Hiroshima plant for more than 50 years.

All credit goes to the player for the win – we’re just very grateful that he chose to play Mizuno irons.  It’s one more chapter for Mizuno on tour and we move on.
