MIZUNO ST-230 CORTECH CHAMBER REVIEWS GO LIVE

YouTube has its say on ‘The Missing Piece’

The independent golf equipment press was unanimous with its praise for Mizuno’s new 2 year metal wood line – the ST-230 SERIES.  After a rapid-fire development process, Mizuno has announced its intention to return to a 2 year cycle after completing its project to elevate the performance of its metalwood line.   With a new CORTECH Chamber running through the 230 SERIES, Mizuno believes it has found its ‘Missing Piece’ to its ball speed equation. Reviewers across the board acknowledged ball speed improvements from the previous ST-220 Series as well as sound and feel.  With some preferring the slightly deeper and more workable ST-Z 230.

The day was well set up by Mizuno staff player and Ryder Cup captain playing beautifully to lead after RD1 in Abu Dhabi at 8 under par – with a new ST-Z 230. The switch from Mizuno ST-220 to ST-230 has been documented as the easiest switch Mizuno has made model to model with its tour staff since embarking on its ‘Tour Ready, World Ready’ project.

Luke Donald recently switched quickly to the ST-Z 230 and took an early lead in Abu Dhabi.

Luke is a player who demonstrates how much driver technology has moved on in the last few years.  He’d probably admit to being a better driver of the ball now than he was at his peak.  His ball speeds are significantly up on where he was 10 years ago and the equipment plays a significant role in that.
