The new MP iron line has dominated the blogs over September, with the introduction of Boron into the MP-25 line a key subject of debate.  Conversation peaked when Senior Engineer Chris Voshall braved a live interview with You Tube golf equipment guru Mark Crossfield.

Over 25 minutes Chris Voshall answered live questions on the new MP irons and S5 Blue IP wedges – recently available at Mizuno’s fitting network across Europe. Questions were compiled from queries across Twitter, Facebook and You Tube over the preceding 2 days.

Conversation circulated around Mizuno’s recent infusion of Boron within the Grain Flow Forging process – featured in the new MP-25. The durability on the finish of the new Blue IP S5 wedges played by Luke Donald was another popular topic.

“It’s a nice innovation to be able to broadcast direct to golfers so soon after a launch,” commented Chris Voshall, Senior Engineer. “We put a lot of time into our own films before the launches where we have to second guess what people’s queries will be. I don’t think we were far off with our original films – but it’s still fun to address things more directly.”

The interview mopped up some loose ends following a rush by the media to review the new product line. In addition to Mark Crossfield, PGA professional Rick Shiels posted enthusiastic reviews on both the MP-5 and MP-25 to his ever growing audience.

Following tVosh wedge wearhe interview keen golfer Voshall posted a pic of his own well-worn Blue IP wedges to demonstrate the wear marks.
