Firstly, thank you for your continued trust in and use of Mizuno products.
We have identified that, in a limited number of Mizuno Pro M-13 irons, deformation of the clubface may develop over time through normal use. Based on the information available to us as of the end of May 2026, the occurrence rate remains very low.
While this condition does not affect all products, we are committed to supporting our customers and ensuring continued confidence in the performance of our equipment. For this reason, we are offering replacement support for eligible products where this condition is present.
Based on our assessment to date, this issue does not present any safety concerns or risk of physical injury – products may continue to be used as normal.
Replacement support applies only to the No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8 irons within the Mizuno Pro M-13 range. These lofts feature a different face construction from the No. 4, No. 5, No. 9, PW, and GW models, which have demonstrated the expected durability performance and have not exhibited this condition.
Customers using Mizuno Pro M-13 No. 6, No. 7, or No. 8 irons are encouraged to inspect the clubface for any signs of deformation. If the condition is identified, we will replace the clubhead with a newly manufactured head. Products showing no signs of deformation can be considered unaffected and may continue to be used as normal.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused and therefore affected products can be returned anytime within the two-year warranty period with proof of purchase. If you have any questions or require assistance, please refer to the additional details provided below.
Mizuno remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and performance. We continue to monitor this matter closely and will take all appropriate measures to support our customers.
MIZUNO EMEA Golf
June 2026
Details of Affected Products
The affected products are listed below:
Product name: Mizuno Pro M-13 Irons
Affected lofts: No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8.
Product SKUs: X345 (Custom Fit), X345L (Custom Fit), 34506SKTS5-PW & 34507SMDS4-PW

Details of the Issue
In a limited number of the affected lofts – specifically the No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8 irons – deformation of the clubface may develop over time through normal use. Based on our analysis, this condition has been observed more frequently among golfers who generate higher clubhead speeds. However, the overall occurrence rate remains very low, representing approximately 0.33% of products in EMEA as of the end of May 2026, and the condition does not affect all products.
Based on our assessment to date, this condition does not present any safety concerns or risk of physical injury – products may continue to be used as normal.
How to Check Whether Your Product Is Affected
Please check whether the product name and product number correspond to the above SKUs and whether the loft of your product is No. 6, No. 7, or No. 8.
Unaffected Products
No. 4, No. 5, No. 9, PW, and GW are not applicable.
Mizuno Pro M-13 Irons feature a progressive design that varies according to loft. Since No. 4, No. 5, No. 9, PW, and GW have internal structures that differ from No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8, they are not subject to this issue and therefore not eligible for replacement support.
Going forward, any products that are replaced will have a “●” laser mark to the right of “CHROMOLY” on the hosel (neck) to signify newly manufactured and unaffected heads. Please see below:
Existing Orders
Customers who have ordered but not yet received M‑13 irons are advised to contact their retailer to begin the process of switching to an alternative model.
Visual Inspection & Support Details
The following steps will help you ascertain whether you are in possession of affected heads:
- Take your No. 6, No. 7 & No. 8 irons and place a flat-edged item (like a ruler) against the clubface perpendicular to the grooves.
- Check to see if the flat edge sits flush to the face, or if there is separation. Affected heads will have separation between the flat edge and the clubface. Please see below:

- Customers using the specified products who have confirmed deformation on the clubface are kindly requested to contact the retailer from which they purchased the set to start the warranty returns process.
