Mizuno talent heads for DP World Tour Final Qualifying

First opportunity to gain tour card through final qualifying in 3 years

European golf goes into arguably its toughest week of the year – with final qualifying for The DP World Tour.   There are just 25 DP World Tour Cards available to the 156 starters – for the first time in 3 years.   With COVID ravaged schedules in 2020 and 2021 it has been a long time since a generation of talent has had the opportunity to elevate their careers through tour school

Mizuno’s Oliver Hundebøll has already secured his 2023 DP World Tour card with a strong season the Challenge Tour.  Now Marco Penge, OJ Farrell, Mateusz Gradecki, Adrien Saddier and Tom Gandy will hope to join him, by claiming one of the remaining 25 spots.  In addition to a few other Mizuno users.

Mizuno’s Tour Operations Manager, Alex Thorne;

It’s so refreshing to see so many of our ‘Next Gen’ talents making the final stage of qualifying.  A few are a little ahead of schedule – but at this point anything is possible.  We took the decision to refresh the Mizuno tour team and invest in both some younger and unfulfilled talent.  It’s really paid off.

Tom Gandy has been waiting patiently for his break.

Adrien Saddier was Mizuno’s top finisher at The Challenge Tour Grand Final

Mateusz Gradecki won on the Challenge Tour in 2022.

The big hitting Englishman Marco Penge.
