Ben Griffin starts his first Major at Oak Hill

Griffin joins Luke Donald and Keith Mitchell at The 2023 PGA Championship

Mizuno’s brightest emerging #MizNextGen talent Ben Griffin (26) will compete at Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester in his first Major Championship.  Joined by fellow Mizuno team members Luke Donald and Keith Mitchell.

Griffin (26) is a 2023 PGA Tour rookie, earning his tour status on the 2022/23 PGA Tour via a 15th place finish on the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour.   Griffin has impressed in his first PGA Tour season, showing a well rounded game and composure under pressure.  Griffin finished T14th in his strongest field to date at the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a final score of  (-4).

Emerging talent Griffin plays a full Mizuno bag including ST-X 230 driver.

Crowd favourite ‘Cashmere’ Keith Mitchell will be strongly backed at the long hitters course – heading the PGA Tour stats for ‘Total Driving’ with his ST-Z 230 leading into the event.  See full stats.

Mitchell’s PGA Tour leading driving stats with ST-Z 230 make him a contender at Oak Hill.

Mizuno’s elder statesman Luke Donald will compete with half an eye on Europe’s leading Ryder Cup talent.  Yet recent form suggests Donald still has a significant contribution to make as a player.  The freedom of competing as Ryder Cup captain could well be a contributing factor in a strong showing.

A relaxed Luke Donald could be a factor at Oak Hill.

Donald will have half an eye on Europe’s Ryder Cup talent as 2023 team captain.

Other Mizuno equipment will also be in play at Oak Hill amongst non contracted users.

Updates to follow.
