Mizuno ST190 driver debuts at the British Masters

First tour sample driver heads on European workshop

New Mizuno drivers landed on the tour workshop at the British Masters this week at Walton Heath.  Not yet scheduled for public release, the new ST190 and ST190G were listed on the USGA website as legal to play from Monday 8th October.  The drivers were shown to Mizuno’s tour staff for the first time on Tuesday – with further tests scheduled away from the event.  Australia’s Marcus Fraser was impressed enough to put the ST190 straight into his bag for the first round – finishing with a level par 72.  A second ST190 also went into play on the PGA Tour – with a player yet to be named.

Marcus Fraser was the first player on any tour to put the Mizuno ST190 into play. One of two players to place an ST190 straight into the bag – just 3 days after clearing the USGA conforming list.
